L’artista, per la prima volta nel 2004, ha legato le foglie di un albero al proprio ramo permettendo che queste, in autunno, cadendo, rimanessero sospese a mezz’aria, in una interpretazione gestuale della poesia “Soldati” di Ungaretti.
Di quell'intervento è rimasta una foglia dell'albero ancora legata al filo rosso, l'ago con cui erano state legate e una foto rovinata. A Zatti è rimasto anche, talvolta, il bisogno di ripetere quel gesto.
For the first time in 2004, the artist tied the leaves of a tree to its branch allowing them to remain suspended in mid-air in autumn, like in a gestural interpretation of the poem “Soldati” by Ungaretti.
A leaf of the tree still tied to the red thread, the needle with which they were tied, and a ruined photo, remained from that intervention. Sometimes Zatti also had the need to repeat that gesture.
